Ive tried two different cards, one 128MB, the other 8GB.
SD CARD SLOT NOT WORKING UPDATE
About the only thing I use if for is to flash my firmware but without the SD Im at a loss as to how I can update my firmware any more. If they are ok then look to reinitialize your eprom and reset your board with the reset switch. Up until recently the SD card slot on my SKR 1.4 Turbo worked just fine, then it just stopped working. If your having this issue, use a flash light and a magnifying glass to look into the slot and make sure the correct number of contacts are visible and in good shape. So although the version of Marlin that was on the board worked no future updates could be done. What I found out was there isn't a way to update the firmware without the sd card unless there is another method via pin out on the board. I actually upgraded to the V2 board since I was having to reinstall everything. Anyway after a few emails to BTT they sent out a new board with no issues. Probably damaged in shipping but who knows the sd cards really should not be inserted and shipped in the boards.

Upon further inspection it appears the two left pins in the Micro SD slot were smashed to the rear of the socket and not making any contact to the Micro SD card. The board has the factory Marlin 2.0bug fix installed and no changes have been made since I can not get any firmware updates. I've rebooted, reset, re-format the micro sd card and the TFT35 v3 has no problem reading any of the sd cards and if I could flash the firmware any other way maybe it wouldn't be an issue but I'm thinking a replacement board is my only solution. And test your problem. My newly installed SKR mini E3 will not recognized any micro sd card installed. So when you get an error message, the first thing to do is to check the memory. Restart computer and press F2 to Enter Setup (Bios) go to Integrated Peripherals or some such on the left panel, look for SD Card Slot and if it is disabled, using your Enter and Arrow keys, Enable it, Save and Exit. Hold the piece of paper on the back (non connector) side of. You will get a memory card error if you dont mount the memory card properly.
